G is for Go-Go’s

I’ve got little time to post this morning. Worked late last night and have to be in at eight-thirty am today. So, I thought I’d give you a TGF treat. When your feet have swollen from sitting all day at your computer and you’ve gotten a good case of writer’s cramp, get up and go-go with one of The Go-Go’s tunes. Get your blood bumping and your creative juices flowing.

I loved the eighties. Sometimes I wish I could get into a time machine.

Everyone have a great day!

Shelly

  2. I haven't heard anything from the Go-Gos in--I can't remember!

I also like Katrina and the Waves' Walking on Sunshine....

  3. I'm an 80's girl, so anything from any of the One-Hit-Wonders is good with me....

  4. Fantastic! I heart 80's music. What a great bounce around dance song. Duran Duran really gets me going, too. good luck with the challenge!

  6. I am a seventies person, but I love the music of the 60's. In fact, 1969 was the absolute best year for rock and roll. Just sayin'. In the 80's I was workin' way too hard to appreciate music. Funny thing is in the 60's I never got to listen to any of it--my parents only let classical in their house.

  7. Aaahhh, the 80's. I remember them well. The big hair, bad clothing, Molly Ringwald movies...

I have always loved the Go-Gos. In fact, my husband was so taken with Belinda Carlisle that I gave him permission to leave me if she ever came knocking on our door.

  8. To everyone:

Thank you all for stopping by. I see we all have something in common. Well, except for my poor Eve, but that's okay, I like the 60's and 70's, too.

Going off to take a nap now so I can read my fellow bloggers stuff later. Just got in from work.

  10. @Russo: You're welcome. The Go-Go's were a fun group like the Bangles.

  11. There really aren't that many all-women bands. Fun song! I kind of dance like that - or at least try to - my kids cringe.

  12. @ Tonja: My kids cringe when I try to dance like them. Guess I wasn't made to pole dance.
